摘 要
随着科学技术的快速发展和大学英语教学的改革,多媒体辅助大学英语听力教学已成为关注的焦点。多媒体技术的应用可以激发大学学生学习英语听力的兴趣。同时在多媒体的帮助下,教学效果和质量都有一定程度的提升。但是过度使用多媒体技术会导致在英语听力的教学过程中忽视了教师的主导地位,使课堂失去了互动性,影响了教学效果。本文总结了多媒体辅助大学英语听力教学的优点和缺点,并得出结论:正确认识多媒体教学的优点和缺点,合理利用多媒体技术,才能使得多媒体的使用在大学英语听力教学中获最大的效益。

Abstract
With the rapid development of technology and the reform of college English teaching, multimedia assisted teaching of college English listening has attracted much attention. College students’ interest in English listening study can be aroused and the teaching effect and quality can be greatly improved with the help of multimedia. However, the excessive use of multimedia in English listening class may result in the fact that teachers’ leading position may be ignored and that interaction between teacher and students may be missing, which will have a bad influence on the teaching effect. This paper gives a brief introduction to the advantages and disadvantages of multimedia assisted teaching of college English listening and then suggests that the best way is to fully recognize both the advantages and disadvantages of using multimedia and utilizing it more reasonably to get the maximum effect of multimedia assisted teaching and to enhance college English listening teaching effect as a result.

1 Introduction
This paper is to clarify the advantages and disadvantages of multimedia assisted teaching of college English listening.
In recent years, with the rapid development of modern education technology, education is not “a chalk, a blackboard” any more. At the same time, the traditional teaching method is gradually becoming boring and baldness. From what have searched before, it is said that “Multimedia and English” are the two important keys to the gate 21st century. Technology and education have long been intertwined together, but it has never had the movement to combine the two.
The 21st century is an age of information explosion in which the speed, the quality, the amount and the extent of knowledge spreading are incomparable in history. You can see people use computers here and there because the distance between countries and people is becoming much closer. In a word, the world is a small one, as a consequence, more and more people take an active part in learning English, persons who can speak, listen, write and read are badly needed in our society.
