摘 要
随着经济和文化全球化的进一步深入,我国对英语教学提出了越来越高的要求,特别是基础教育阶段的初中英语教学。尽管教师在新课程理念的指导下,使用任务型进行教学,但教学效果并不像预期的那样令师生双方满意。事实上,这几年的新课程标准实施后,初中生的英语学习兴趣还是提高不快,学习成绩还是上不来。根据初中生本身的特点,笔者认为把情境教学法应用于初中英语课堂是最合适的选择。本文笔者借助诸多学者、专家所取得的成就,根据初中生的实际情况,调整情境教学法在初中英语课堂中的使用,整体设计教学目标,以某人或某物为主线,设置一连串的情境完成教学任务,旨在提高初中生学习英语的兴趣和教学的质量,使学生不断有成功的体验,进而增强学生的学习自信心。
近年来,越来越多的语言研究专家开始注意到语言环境在提高语言学习能力和效率的重要性。学习者很少能够在自然语言环境中发展其外语能力,贫乏和不利的语言环境制约他们语言能力的发展。语言环境也是影响和促进学生语言习得的关键因素之一。N.Naiman(1975)指出,“外语语言环境非常重要,不仅能发展学生的交际能力,而且能加速外语习得的过程。”我国最新颁布的《基础教育国家英语课程标准》也强调了英语语言环境的重要性。

Abstract
With the further in-depth globalization of the economy and culture,English language teaching in China raised higher and higher requirements,especially in fundamental education of the junior middle school English teaching. Although teachers are guided by the concepts of the new curriculums and have used the Task-based Approach in English teaching, the teaching results can not satisfy the expectations of teachers and students. In fact, several years after the implementation of the new curriculum standards, junior middle school students’ interests in learning English can’t be evoked and few improvements can be made. Based on the characteristics of middle school students themselves, the authors believe that the Situational Method used in junior middle school English teaching is the most appropriate choice. With a lot of scholars and experts’ achievements, and according to the real situation of junior middle school students, the author adjusts the use of Situational Method in junior middle school to the overall design of the teaching objectives, with someone or something as the main line, setting up a series of situations to complete the teaching task. Aimed at improving the junior middle students’ interests in learning English and the quality of teaching so that students are able to gain successful experiences constantly, hereby enhancing students’ learning self-confidence.
In recent years, more and more linguistic researchers start to care about the importance of language environment for developing the language abilities and efficiency. Students can hardly have chances to develop their foreign language abilities in natural linguistic environment. Poor and unprofitable linguistic environment restricts the development of language abilities. In term of acquisition, it is also one of the pivotal factors that influence and accelerate language acquisition. In 1975, N.Naiman points out that FL environment is of great importance, not only for developing the students’ communicative competence, but also for speeding up the process of foreign acquisition. The SECFCECSMS enacted recently also emphasizes the importance of English linguistic environment.
