家长是最好的老师,家庭教育作为教育的初级阶段,对孩子的成长也起着不可估量的作用。随着中国经济的快速发展与独生子女家庭数量的不断增加,越来越多的家庭教育问题不断出现。众多教育学者在进行理论探究的同时,都试图参照西方发达国家家庭教育的经验来解决我们的家庭教育问题。其中美国是个很好的参照物。本文主要从教育方式、教育内容、教育目的等方面做中美之间的对比,探讨中美家庭教育之间的差异以及原因分析,为中国家长提供借鉴。

Abstract:
Since the reform and the opening up, our attention on education has been up to the unprecedented height. As the primary stage of education, home education both in theory and practice has made great progress. With China's rapid economic development and the increasing number of one-child families, more and more home education problems have emerged. Exploring many theories of education, scholars are trying to solve our problems by referring to the experience of home education in western developed countries. American home education, one of them, is a good reference. Since the1980s, the Sino-US comparison of home education has been in the ascendant. The paper begins with a brief introduction to the research significance and style. The first part introduces outcomes of home education. The second chapter describes the process of Sino-US Comparison of home education. The third part focuses on the analysis of the reasons leading to the difference of home education between China and America. In the end, the author put forward some proposal to improve Chinese home education

1 Introduction
Nowadays, the international competition is increasingly fierce, what is in fact the competition of the quality of people and training on qualified personnel. It is known that home in a sense is the primary position of education and the talent man competition is the competitive ability of parents to child-rearing. Therefore, the world attaches great importance to this part of home education on the program training new century person. Home education has aroused great concern in our society, particularly in the education circle. However, Chinese families have some prejudices, which seriously affect the forming of children’s good characters. Therefore, the experience of other countries in the value of education in the home practice benefit for Chinese parents to step out of the misunderstanding on home education. This paper attempts to compare the relevant aspects of Sino-US home education, and analyze the reasons leading to the difference of home education between the two countries, and then put forward some suggestions on Chinese home education.
