摘要:
如今愈来愈多的英语教育研究者意识到情感因素在学习和教学过程中起着关键作用,然而情感因素的影响在文理科学生中并没有展开深入的研究。本文通过从154名学生(文科74名,理科80名)的问卷调查结果和考试成绩等方面进行对比性分析和研究。结果表明文理科学生在大学英语学习中的情感因素方面存在差异性。通过探讨英语教学中情感因素对文理专业学生的影响,进一步提出一些对情感因素教学的建议,希望能帮助学生的英文学习。

Abstract:
Nowadays, an increasing number of English researchers have realized the role affective factors plays in English instruction. However, the effect of affective factors has not been widely elaborated between arts and science students. One hundred and fifty-five participants (74 arts and 84 sciences undergraduate students) completed tests. Differences were found in the effect of affective factors in their English study. This study illustrates the different effect of affective teaching on the arts and sciences, and further proposes some views on how to carry out affective teaching in English teaching in the hope of helping to improve students’ English study.

1. Introduction
With the development of psychology, affective factors in English teaching are receiving more attention. Former studies show that the role of affect factors in language learning is just as important as cognitive skills; therefore, it is vital for producing better effect of affective factors in English acquisition. This means to give full play to positive affective factors and overcome negative ones.
There are more than 1,500 universities in China. Half of them have arts and sciences integration of college enrollment. Although studies have shown that there are little different between arts and science students’ professional knowledge and practical ability, there are diversities between them in college English study,including such aspects as attitude in learning,motivation,desires,and other emotional factors which show in academic achievements. Therefore, in this research some views were proposed to affective teaching.
