Abstract:

Chinglish is an interlanguage between Chinese and English, which is a formulaic expression facilitated by the Chinese way of thinking or the culture influence. It is becoming popular day by day with the increase of learners of English and it’s shown vividly and incisively in the college students’ English writing tasks. This not only goes against the effect of cross-cultural communication, but also is a disadvantage for the English learners’ understanding of discourse. This article will introduce what is Chinglish and the cause of Chinglish through a variety of examples and statistical analysis, and explain the pattern of manifestation of Chinglish respectively from the aspects of vocabulary, syntax and discourse. It puts forward some countermeasures about Chinglish, aiming at improving the students’ expression ability and offering beneficial help to the learners.

中式英语是一种介于汉英之间的中介语，是一种由汉语思维方式或文化影响而促成的生搬硬套的表达, 随着英语学习者的增加而日益普遍起，其在大学生英语写作中表现的淋漓尽致。这不但不利于跨文化交际的效果，也不利于英语学习者对语篇等的理解。本文将通过多种实例、统计分析等详细介绍什么是中式英语，中式英语产生的原因，并分别从词汇方面，句法方面，语篇方面说明中式英语的表现形式，同时提出关于中式英语的一些规避策略，旨在提高学生的语言表达能力，为英语学习者提供有利的帮助。

1. Introduction
    Nowadays, with the wide spread of economic globalization Chinese has much more communication with other countries than before, so China has taken in much culture elements from other countries, including English language. Under this circumstance, Chinese become more and more passionate to learn English, which is followed by plenty of English exams.
    However, our country owns a deep culture of ancient civilizations, and she has her own unique cultural traditions. It is inevitable that English learners may copy our mother tongue blindly into English in the process of English learning, and they don’t have much knowledge of the differences of cultural background between Chinese and western countries, all of which have generated a lot of Chinglish. This phenomenon is obvious in college students' English writing performance. In order to improve the students' English writing level effectively, the phenomenon of Chinglish should be paid much attention to.
