Abstract

With the widespread of globalization, oral English is increasingly important in our daily lives, but Chinese college students still cannot communicate fluently with foreigners though they have learnt English for more than 10 years. Therefore, in order to develop a well-rounded English specialist, we should find reasons for committing errors and methods to correct them. Error-correcting theory is an important theory in linguistics, and it can help teachers have a general understanding of students’ grasp of  a second language and features in learning language. In addition, it aims to features of learning process to help teachers improve their teaching skills and efficiency. Though there are many researches about errors in learning English, few studies are carried out in grammatical oral errors. Based on this fact, this paper aims to use examples to analyze and summarize some common errors in oral English, and get some practical correcting strategies, trying to make English learners avoid making mistakes in grammars that are simple but can be easily neglected to improve oral English effectively.

摘要

随着经济全球化的发展,英语口语在我们日常生活中越来越重要。然而对于中国学生来说,虽然学了十几年英语,但却无法和外国人正常的交流。所以,为了培养一个全面发展的英语人才,必须找到口语不流利且经常犯错的原因,并且找到纠正策略。错误分析理论是语言学的一个重要的理论,它可以让教师对学生的第二语言掌握程度有一个大致的了解,而且可以知道学生在学习中采取的什么策略。除此之外,通过帮助教师了解学生学习过程中的特点,提高教师的教学效果和效率。尽管之前对英语学习过程中所犯错误的研究比较多,但是专门对英语口语语法错误的研究几乎没有。此文章主要通过一些例子来分析和总结在英语口语中常犯的语法错误,也分析出一些有实用价值的纠正策略,使英语学习者避免犯一些很简单但容易被忽视的语法错误,以此来有效的提高英语口语水平。
