Abstract: In recent years, with the continuously improvement of people’s attention to English, learning English at twice the speed with half the effort has becoming a goal of English learners. It is generally known that vocabulary is vital to English learning. You can learn more words in less time when you have mastered better methods of vocabulary learning, so the learnig efficiency is likely to improve remarkably. Then you can learn English at twice the speed with half the effort as expected. This paper aims to analyze the effects of different modes of word presentation on intentional vocabulary learning by discussing the features of thematic clustering, semantic clustering, synonym and context, as well as their effects on the processing, memorizing and retention of words. This paper is composed of five parts. The first part is the introduction. The second part summarizes the literary research at home and abroad. The third part is the main part, which concretely analyzes the effects of different modes of word presentation on intentional vocabulary learning. The fourth part is the enlightments to English learners. The last part is the conclusion. It is hoped that this paper will provide some suggestions for the English learners and help to improve the efficiency of Enlish leaning.

摘要:近年来,随着人们对英语学习的重视不断提高,探寻事半功倍的英语学习方法成了英语学习者的一大目标。众所周知,词汇学习是英语学习的关键,掌握了好的词汇学习方法,就可以在更短的时间内习得更多的词汇,那么英语学习效率自然会大幅提升,即达到了事半功倍的效果。本文旨在分析不同的词汇呈现方式对刻意词汇学习的影响,通过对主题聚类、语义聚类、同义词和语境四种词汇呈现方式的分析,探究它们对词汇加工、记忆及保持的影响,从而更好的发挥不同的词汇呈现方式在词汇学习中的作用。本文分为五个部分,第一部分是绪论,第二部分总结了国内外研究现状,第三部分是主体,具体分析不同词汇呈现方式对词汇习得的影响,第四部分对英语学习者提出建议,第五部分是本文结论。
