Abstract:
With the frequent communications of international economy and culture, more and more people have recognized that it is important for us to understand others’ words quickly and respond fluently in the English communications. The teaching target of listening is to develop the ability of obtaining the verbal information. However, a lot of college students feel very confused and they don't know how to improve the skill of English listening. This essay analyses the factors that affecting college students listening comprehension, which include subjective factors and objective factors. Subjective factors include incorrect pronunciation, lack of sufficient vocabularies, lack of correct grammatical rules, psychological factors, and lack of background knowledge, incorrect listening habits and mother tongue interference. Objective factors include the material feature, the speed of speaker and the task feature. This essay also puts forward the corresponding solutions which include enhancing students’ language skill training, overcoming students’ psychological barrier, developing a good listening habit and expanding the fields of listening, etc. Thus, students can improve their listening skills.

摘 要:
随着国际之间经济文化的频繁交流,越来越多的人开始认识到,在英语的交流中能够快速地理解对方的话语并且流利地作出回应是很重要的。听力的教学目的是培养学生有效地获取口头信息的能力。然而,很多学生为之很迷惑,不知如何提高英语听力技能。本文分析影响大学生英语听力理解的因素,主要分为主观因素和客观因素。主观因素包括不正确的发音,缺乏足够的词汇,缺乏正确的语法规则,心理因素,缺乏一定的背景知识,不当的听力习惯和母语的干扰。客观因素包括材料的特征,说话者的速度和任务的特征。本文并且提出了相应的解决方法,包括加强学生语言技能的训练,克服学生的心理障碍,培养良好的听力习惯和扩展听力的范围等等,从而提高学生的听力技能。
