摘要:
近百年来,美国经济一直处于世界领先地位,科学发明和技术进步也名列前茅。本世纪诺贝尔奖得主中有三分之一都是美国人。这些成就的取得,除了得益于美国的自然和人文环境外,在很大程度上还归功于美国科学的教育制度。美国高等教育被认为是世界上最好的教育,办学历史悠久且规模庞大,在传统教育观念、教育管理制度、教学方法、课程设置、对学生的评价标准、学生品德和道德教育的方式等方面都极具特色。与美国相比,我国高等教育的发展相对滞后,美国高等教育的发展经验对我们具有十分重要的借鉴与启发作用,因此我们要努力改善和提供我国高校的学习条件,树立诚信意识,提高教育管理水平,力争培养出具有独立思考能力的优秀人才。

Abstract:
In the past century, the U.S. scientific discoveries and technological advances are among the best and its economy has been a world leader. Nobel Prize winner in this century, a third of all are Americans. Except for the natural and human environment, these achievements are in large part due to U.S. scientific education system. American’s higher education is considered to be the world's best, the school has a long history and a large scale; it has its own peculiarities in the traditional concepts of education, education management system, teaching methods, curriculum, evaluation standard criteria for students, students' moral and ethical education, etc. While, The development of higher education in China is lagging behind, the United States on the development experience of higher education play a very important role in learning and inspiration to our country, so we should strive to improve the learning conditions of our colleges and universities, establish a sense of integrity, improve the level of education management, and strive to cultivate talents with independent thoughts.

1. Introduction
American higher education is recognized as the world's best. In the words of Embassy of the United States cultural officials, the American higher education is characterized by wide knowledge in various fields, and the freedom to choose educational content. The United States has no unified national education system; the state government is responsible for all kinds of local education. The United States has a large number of institutions of higher education, there are 3,600 colleges offer undergraduate education, and 1,700 universities offer graduate education. The survey showed that: on the quality of education to primary and secondary stages, the United States ranked only 30 in the world, but for the university level, the situation has changed, the students bring their talents into full play, thereby the United States attracting over 50 million foreign students to the United States to receive higher education each year. This phenomenon is indeed worthy of our reflection.
