ABSTRACT

Associative Memory is a method through the form of association to memorize English words. This paper reviews the traits of the words and the relationship between memory and association and expatriates upon the basic theory of Associative Memory.
This paper introduces Associative Memory method and the process and aims at advocating the application of Associative Memory in words learning process to cope with the students’ problems of memorizing English words and improve their word-learning ability effectively. Furthermore, this paper focuses on how to use the Associative Memory to expand students’ vocabulary and explains the importance of Associative Memory in English vocabulary teaching. The data can be collected from questionnaire and class observation. The two researches study the influence of learning English words through “Associative Memory” on junior middle school students and also test whether this approach can effectively improve students’ memory performance or not. The results show that Associative Memory can improve students’ ability to remember English words.

摘  要

全想记忆是通过联想的形式进行记忆英语单词的记忆方法。本文以记忆规律和词汇本身特点为依据,阐述记忆与联想的关系,论述了联想的基本理论。文章具体介绍了全想记忆的方法和过程,旨在提倡全想记忆方法在记忆学习过程中的实际应用,用以解决学生词汇记忆问题,提供词汇学习效率。
本文主要讨论如何利用全想记忆法来扩展学生的词汇量,提出词汇在学习中的重要性以及全想记忆法在英语词汇教学中的应用。通过问卷调查和课堂观察等研究方法进行数据收集,然后分析数据得出本文的具体结论。该教学实验对象为初中二年级学生,对全想记忆法是否能够有效地提高他们的记忆能力进行了研究。结果发现:全想记忆法能够有效地提高学生记忆词语的能力。
