Abstract
Anxiety is one of the most important affective factors that hinder the learners’ learning processes and achievements particular in listening learning. In this paper, 28 English majors are invited to finish the questionnaire and depth interview. The author analyses the results from the following aspects and draw some conclusions: anxiety is more prone to happen in the process of listening activities, and lack of confidence and ability are two main sources of English learning anxiety; test anxiety is higher than classroom anxiety; there is a positive relationship between listening anxiety and anxiety proficiency in the English listening; it is more easier for females to be affected by the anxiety in listening. Even though anxiety is unavoidable, it can be overcome. By holding a correct understanding of anxiety, improving their confidence and abilities and regulating their emotions properly, college students indeed can reduce anxieties in their English study.

摘要
作为一种重要的情感因素,焦虑影响着学习者的学习过程和学习结果,尤其在听力学习方面。本文对28名英语专业学生进行问卷调查和访谈,并主要从以下四个方面进行研究分析并得出一些结论:与其他外语学习相比,焦虑较易产生于听力学习中并且能力和自信的缺失是焦虑的主要来源,另外考试焦虑明显大于课堂焦虑,以及听力焦虑和焦虑程度存在着正比关系,最后还发现女生的焦虑感大于男生。尽管在我们学习过程中焦虑是不可避免的,但仍然是可以克服的。通过对焦虑有一个正确的认识,提高个人的自信和能力,以及适当调节自己的情绪,大学生的确能够减少在英语学习中的焦虑。

1. Introduction
It is not difficult to learn from foreign language teaching researches that many researchers pay more attention to how to learn instead of how to teach. The affective factors on foreign language learning have become important projects of them. American linguist Stephen Krashen is the most successful one who has a profound influence on his contemporaries and successors. He proposed five hypotheses about second language acquisition and stated that the affective filter was one of the key elements hindering second language acquisition.
