摘要:
本文在英语语法能力与语言能力关系的基础上,对高中生的英语语法和语言能力现状进行分析,并指出通过中学阶段的英语学习,学生并没有真正理解英语语法和有效地运用英语语言。除此之外,本文也详细分析这个问题以及引起这些问题的原因,并在此基础上为教师和学生提出一些建议,以期提高高中英语课程语法与语言的教与学的效果。

Abstract:
Based on the relationship between English grammatical and linguistic competence, this paper analyzes the current situation of their English grammatical and linguistic competence, and points out that after middle school years, students have not been trained to understand and put into effective use English grammar and the language itself. It further conducts a detailed analysis of the problems, and the causes, and on the basis of the analysis, it finally puts forward some suggestions for both teachers and students in the hope of bringing about better teaching and learning of both English grammar and English language as a course in senior middle schools.

1.Introduction
Grammar plays a key role in the process of language learning.The learner cannot speak or write with accuracy and fluency without correct grammar.With the New Curriculum Standard having been carried out, training students’ communication competence has caught much attention nationwide, but grammar teaching and learning have been out of the main teaching and learning activities, which has hindered further advancement of students’ communicative competence. In fact, grammar plays an important role in English. It is very useful to English proficiency to settle the relations between grammatical competence and language communication competence. When teaching, teachers regard communication as aim, grammar as means, and have students’ competence get all-round development. Grammatical competence refers to the mastery of language code,such as features and rules of vocabulary and linguist semantics.It focuses directly on the knowledge and skill that ore required to understand and express actually the literal meaning of utterances.
