摘要
近几十年来蓬勃发展的的外贸英语教学并非十全十美。传统的外贸英语教学目的是培养能与来自西方国家的英语母语使用者交流并进行贸易往来的人才,而亚洲人发现,在实际的贸易往来中,他们更多地是与亚洲其他国家或地区的人用英语进行交流;同时,传统外贸英语教学内容基本为西方所谓的标准英语,课程设计与教材选择上以英美国家经济文化知识为主。而随着亚洲的崛起,世界中心也逐渐东移,世界格局变化导致亚洲英语语境的变化,英语在亚洲发展传播过程中也逐渐本土化并显现出一定的通用特征,这就给外贸英语教学以相应的启示,传统的外贸英语教学范式也应当发生相应的转变,具体来说,在教学目标上应注重培养能与亚洲人进行流畅交流的英语使用者,教学内容上增加更多英语作为亚洲通用语的语料输入。

Abstract
While developed rapidly during last decades, business English language education has not been working effectively in everything. The objectives to learn English are to speak like a native speaker and to communicate with native speaker in western countries like the USA and the UK. However, nowadays, Asian people are finding themselves using English with people of neighboring counties more frequently than with people from the USA or the UK. In the traditional business English education paradigm, the teaching standards and norms all come from English used by native speakers. Learners are all learning the standard British or American English. With the rise of Asia, the global power center is gradually shifting from the West to the East. The power shift also brings about changes in the English language context in Asia. The Asian English not only makes English itself change a lot but also brings an enormous change to business English teaching in terms of content and methodology. To be more specifically, it is suggested to provide more input of different verities of Asian Englishes in business English teaching in order to cultivate English users to communicate with nonnative speakers.
