Abstract

The understanding of culture cannot be ignored during the use of language, due to the close relationship between language and culture. In English teaching, we should cultivate cross-cultural communicative awareness in order to avoid unnecessary embarrassment in communication events, which may affects the interpersonal intercourse. Therefore, we should actively show our response in language teaching, guide students to cultivate students' intercultural communicative awareness, and lead in the western culture systematically and purposefully, as far as possible to help students understand the cultural background knowledge of western countries, and eventually improve students' ability of using a language. It is necessary to cultivate cross-cultural awareness, which is the problem that must be broken through in English teaching.

摘要

语言与文化关系密切，使用语言进行交流时，不能忽略了对文化的了解。所以在英语教学中，要积极培养跨文化交际意识，以免在交流中出现不必要的尴尬状况，影响了人际之间往来。因此，在教学中要积极应对，引导学生，培养学生跨文化交际意识，系统地，有目的地导入西方文化，尽可能帮助学生了解英美国家的文化背景知识，最终提高学生的语言运用能力。跨文化意识的培养是非常必要的，也是现实英语教学中必须突破的课题。
