Abstract

Because of examination-oriented education, lack of qualified teachers and authentic language environment, oral English teaching has always been a difficult problem of middle school English teaching. The popularization of the network and its application in the teaching bring new opportunities to the oral English teaching in middle school. Compared with traditional way of teaching oral English, the new way of teaching, with the help of the internet, can enable learners to break though the limits of time and space and to acquire more opportunities to communicate with teachers and classmates. This paper analyzes problems and reasons existing in current oral English Teaching in middle school, proposes certain suitable network communication software, suggests design of oral communication tasks which focuses on the learner, and emphasizes the importance of teacher’s supervision to ensure the effective interaction. This paper is supposed to work out some practical significance for improving the efficiency of middle school spoken English teaching.

摘要

由于应试教学、师资匮乏、语境缺少等因素，英语口语教学一直是中学英语教学的一个难题。网络的普及及其在教学中的应用，也给中学英语口语教学带来了新的空间。与传统的英语口语教学方式相比，充分利用网络的优势进行英语口语教学，能突破时间和空间的限制，获得更多与教师、同伴进行英语口语交流的机会。本文分析了目前中学口语教学存在的问题及原因，提出选择合适的网络交际软件、以学习者为中心设计口语交际任务、教师对学生口语交际活动实行有效监管的网络口语教学方法，对提高中学英语口语教学效率具有一定的实践意义。
