Abstract
English writing is a kind of language productive skill, which plays a very important role in the English learning and communication. And it accounts for a relatively greater part in various English proficiency tests. However, the writing teaching has been weak in our country. The traditional writing classroom teaching focuses on the input and imparting the English knowledge while neglecting the output and application of English. The National English Curriculum advocates the Task-based Teaching Approach, in which students acquires the language knowledge and skills by participation, experiencing and communication, etc. The students’ writing skill can be improved by applying the Task-based Approach in the English writing classroom teaching in senior high school. This thesis introduces the theory of Task-based Approach, discusses the definition and classification of tasks, as well as explores its application in the design of writing classroom teaching activities in senior high school. Finally the thesis points out that the key point of Task-based English classroom teaching lies in designing the teaching tasks and it also puts forward the teaching procedures of English writing .

摘要
英语写作是一种语言输出技能,在英语学习和交际中非常重要。在各种英语测试中写作通常占有较大的比例,然而英语写作教学一直是我国教学的薄弱环节。传统的教学方法只重视英语知识的输入和传授,而忽视英语的输出和应用。英语课程标准中提倡任务型教学途径,强调学生在英语课堂中通过参与,体验,交际等方式,获得语言知识和技能。将任务型教学途径应用于高中英语写作课堂教学中,可以有效提高学生的写作能力。本文通过阐述任务型教学理论,研究任务的定义与分类,探究其在写作课堂教学的应用,指出任务型英语课堂教学的关键在于设计任务活动,提出了正确的写作教学活动的步骤。
