Abstract
Junior school students’ difference in intelligence, personality and gender brings many difficulties to the teaching of teachers, and it is easy to produce two class differentiations. In the new curriculum standards of English teaching, it’s inevitable for teachers to face students’ individual difference. Differentiated instruction aims not to eliminate differences, but to admit the individual differences of students. Only if teachers take students’ individual differences into consideration, apply interactive teaching, stratification teaching and diversified evaluation, and promote the development of individual differences of students can the quality of English teaching be effectively improved.

摘要
初中生在智力、个性和性别方面的差异给教师的教学带来许多困难,并很容易产生两级分化。在新的英语教学课程标准中,教师会不可避免地面对学生的个体差异。差异教学的目的不是去消除学生的差异,取而代之的是承认学生的个体差异。只有教师考虑学生的个体差异,采用互动教学、分层教学和多样性评估,促进学生个体差异的发展,才能有效提高英语教学质量。
