Abstract
With the advancement of elementary education curriculum reform, the proportion of emotional factors in the basic education becomes increasingly deep. Effective emotional teaching can help students improve the learning efficiency and form healthy and positive outlook on life and values. From the perspective of junior middle school English teaching, this paper is based on the analysis of the related theory of emotional teaching and function in English teaching, and development by Chinese and foreign scholars. The research studies junior middle school English teachers' emotional teaching present situation and the role of emotional teaching in junior middle school English teaching through the questionnaire and individual interview among English teachers and students. In this paper, suggestions and measures are put forward on the embodiment and application of emotional teaching in English learning in junior middle school. Research has certain limitation and insufficiency. We expect more advice to guide future research.

摘要
随着基础教育课程改革的不断推进,情感因素在基础教育之中的比重日益加深,本论文从初中英语教学的角度出发,在分析情感教学和功能在英语教学中的相关理论以及历史上中外学者对其所做的研究的基础上,通过对明德初级中学的教师和学生进行问卷调查和个别访谈来研究现代初中一线英语教师的情感教学的现状以及情感教学在初中英语教学中的作用。并对情感教学在初中英语教学中的体现和应用提出了一定的建议和措施。研究存在一定的局限和不足,期待更多的建议,以指导未来的研究。
