摘要
日常生活中,人们的交际方式主要有两种:言语交际和非言语交际。非言语交际同样存在于教学中。语言学家们通过多年的研究得出结论:课堂教学中教师通过自己的表情、 行为等非言语行为传达了 82%的信息,只有 18%的信息是由言语来表达的,由此可知教师的课堂非言语行为对于学生的言语习得能产生重要影响。
本文将根据3位英语老师的公开视频对关于二语习得中教师非言语行为进行具体的分析,并结合相关的文献探讨教师非言语行为对学生的情感培养的影响。在此基础上期望英语教师能够改变传统教学观念,重视课堂非言语行为对学生的情感培养作用,利用非言语行为来培养学生的积极情感消除消极情感从而提高教学效率。

Abstract
In our daily life, there are two kinds of communication: verbal communication and nonverbal communication. Nonverbal communication also exists in the process of teaching. The linguists have studied it for many years and reached a conclusion: 82% of information in English classroom is conveyed by teachers’ nonverbal behaviors (here after TNB), and 18% is through verbal behaviors, which means TNB have a big effect on the students’ second language acquisition.
In this study, the author will analyze the TNB in English language teaching according to three teachers’ videos of their open classes, and discuss about the effects of TNB on students’ emotion cultivating in ELT class. The author hopes that this study can help English teachers to change their traditional ideas of teaching, and pay more attention to the effects of TNB on students’ emotion cultivating in ELT class, i.e. to make best use of nonverbal behaviors to cultivate students’ positive emotion and remove the negative emotion so as to strengthen their teaching efficiency.
