摘要
非智力因素对高中学生的英语学习有很大的影响。本文以非智力因素中的动机为例来说明非智力因素的重要性,介绍了动机的定义、分类,以及影响学习动机的因素,包括环境、态度和期望。在分析了学习动机对高中学生英语学习的重要影响之后指出了现如今在培养动机的过程中所存在的问题,并探讨了培养高中学生英语学习动机的策略。本文旨在体现培养英语学习动机的重要性,引起英语教师对培养学生学习动机的重视,指导之后的教学实践。

Abstract
Non-intellectual factors play a very important role in influencing senior high school students’ English learning. To exemplify the significance of non-intellectual factors, the thesis introduces the definition and classifications of motivation as well as several factors that affect the cultivation of learning motivation, including environment, attitude and expectation. After analyzing its significant effects on senior high school students’ English learning, this thesis points out some problems existing in developing motivation and puts forward some suggested strategies to improve senior high school students’ English learning motivation. The purpose of this thesis is to reflect the importance of cultivating English learning motivation, guide teachers of English to value the development of students’ English learning motivation and provide practical guidance for effective English teaching.
