摘  要

近几年,教育已经成为了一个热门话题。如今在课堂上,教师和学生不仅仅只用口头语言来沟通,他们还使用各种体态语。体态语可以用来激励学生的发言主动性,营造和谐的课堂氛围,以提高课堂效率。本文先分析在大学英语教学中大学生不愿意表达他们的意见和产生这种现象的原因,进而提出一些打破“课堂沉默”的建议,通过详述体态语的种类和体态语对学生的正面和负面影响,再详细分析体态语对发言主动性的积极影响。分析过程中会提及一些例子来说明体态语对学生主动发言的重要性,也会提供关于正确使用体态语的建议。体态语在当今的大学英语教学法中起着重要作用,关于如何使用的信息应该被接触教育事业的人所知。

Abstract

Education has become a hot topic during recent years. Nowadays, teachers and students not only use verbal language to communicate but also use a variety of body language in class. Body language could be used to encourage students’ initiative to speak and create a harmonious atmosphere to enhance the classroom efficiency. At the beginning, the thesis discusses college students’ reluctance to voice their opinions and its reasons, and then the thesis gives suggestions for teachers to break the “class silence”. Kinds of body languages teachers will use to stimulate students’ uttering initiative and body language’s positive and negative influence on students’ initiative to speak will also be stated. Examples and details will be listed in the thesis to illustrate the importance of body language to students’ speak initiative, and some suggestions about body language would be provided to college teachers for classroom management. Information can be found in this thesis that correct body language can be beneficial to students’ speaking initiative, while incorrect body language will give a negative impact on students. As body language plays an important role in today’s college English teaching methods, how to use body language should come to be known by people who are exposed to the education field.
