摘要
随着国际交流的日益增多,英语教育领域中培养学生的跨文化交际意识等方面的研究在国内外也逐渐成为热门领域,并取得了很多成果。然而目前中学英语教学中的跨文化意识培养的策略研究还局限在课堂教学中的零散经验总结层面上,有计划的、系统的课堂实证研究还很少,因而在高中英语教学中探索如何培养学生跨文化意识的策略方面还有很大的研究空间。本研究希望通过文化教学策略的应用和研究分析,为新课程背景下的高中英语跨文化教学探索提供一些可行的教学策略,以培养中学生跨文化交际能力。
本论文第一章为引言部分,介绍了论文开展的背景,采用的方法以及文章结构。第二章从文化与语言的关系入手首先揭示跨文化意识的内涵及其与跨文化意识的关系。在此基础上,提出了国内外相关的理论研究,为笔者后文策略的提出提供理论基础。第三章在分析了中学英语教学中文化教学的现状,专门论证了文化教学的必要性。
第四章基于目前中学英语教学中的跨文化意识研究还局限在课堂教学中的零散经验总结层面上,有计划的、系统的研究还很少。很多的跨文化教学总结,偏重文化知识的传授,而且很少谈及跨文化意识的。笔者从心理学、社会学、哲学方法论等不同视角分别提出情感策略、氛围策略、方法策略、比较策略、评价策略等跨文化意识培养策略。第五章再一次重申主要观点,和对该论题研究的意义以及研究的局限性及需进一步研究的问题。

Abstract
With the development of international exchange, in English education systems, the researches on the cultivation of the senior high school students' intercultural awareness are developing quickly both at home and abroad and have gained many achievements. While the systematic empirical researches are so few, the research on the strategies of the cultivation of the senior high school students' intercultural awareness is still confined to some scattered teaching experiences in class. So there is also a greatly important research space in the field of exploring some feasible teaching strategies, especially of cultivating students' intercultural awareness. My research aims to offer some practical teaching strategies so as to improve the senior high school students' intercultural communicative competence.
This thesis consists of five chapters. Chapter 1 introduces the background information of the study. The research methods and the main idea of this study are briefly presented in this chapter. Chapter Two begins with the definitions of language and culture, followed by the relationship between language and culture. Then it comes to an overview of intercultural communication awareness. Furthermore, there is a comparison between intercultural awareness and intercultural communicative competence. What' more, chapter 2 offers the development and researches on the intercultural teaching both at home and abroad to give some theoretical basis to the writer's strategies. Chapter 3 is concerned with the contribution and incorporation of the teaching of culture into the foreign language classroom in middle schools. Special consideration is given to the declination of the necessities in the ways of teaching of culture. On this basis, chapter 4 demonstrates strategies on cultivating intercultural awareness, such as affective strategy, climate strategy, method strategy, comparison strategy and evaluation strategy from different perspectives of psychology, sociology, philosophy and methodology. I have summarized these five strategies through my teaching practice. Chapter 5 summarizes the whole study, the significance and limitations of the study as well as suggestions for future research are all provided in this section.
