摘要

赵本山是我国著名的小品表演艺术家。幽默风趣的语言是他小品中一道靓丽的风景线。2000年春节联欢晚会，赵本山携宋丹丹共同演绎了《钟点工》，深受广大观众的喜欢。本文运用语用学的相关理论对赵本山小品的幽默语言从格赖斯合作原则、会话含义等方面分析。以小品《钟点工》的精选对白为例，分别从合作原则的四准则及会话含义进行深入透彻研究，发现其幽默所在。
通过分析，一方面验证了语用学理论在幽默小品分析中的有效性，另一方面有助于我们更好地理解赵本山幽默小品，掌握语言，提高鉴赏和运用语言的能力。

Abstract

Zhao Benshan is a household sketch performing artist in China. The humorous, funny and witty language constitutes the brightest scenery in his sketches. The sketch Odd Job is one of the well-known works performed by Zhao Benshan and Song Dandan in CCTV Spring Festival Gala Evening in 2000, which is very popular with a large audience. This thesis intends to conduct a research on the humor language in Zhao Benshan’s sketches on different levels from different perspectives by applying the relevant pragmatic theories—the Cooperative Principle and Conversational Implicature. Through analysis, the author finds that the humorous dialogue in Odd Job violates the maxims of the Cooperative Principle and their Conversational Implicatures. This analysis tries to explore the causes of humor in Zhao Benshan’s sketches. On the one hand, it proves the validity of the pragmatic theory in the study of humor sketches; on the other hand, it produces some practical significance by helping the audience better understand Zhao Benshan’s sketches.

1     Introduction

1.1    Research Motivation and Significance

A comic sketch refers to the short and concise comedy which employs humor, satire, funniness to reflect the things happening in real life. There is no one but knows such a simple fact that Zhao Benshan is the king of sketch performance in China. Zhao Benshan’s sketches are very popular with a large audience. Since his debut on the CCTV Spring Festival Evening Show in 1990, his sketches carry on its popularity for more than 20 years. There appears a “Zhao Benshan Phenomenon” which gets nationwide attention.
Many of us can not help thinking what magic does Zhao Benshan has to make his sketches so enchanting and lasting within a span of more than two decades? This study is prompted by this wonder.
