摘　要

随着世界的发展，国际之间的合作不断增加,因而有着不同文化背景的国家之间的交流也日益加强。但不同的文化的差异导致交流的冲突，了解文化中出现的各种禁忌，找到解决文化冲突的方法，使国际合作交流更加顺利。其他学者主要是注重在禁忌语的比较以及影响，而文章围绕禁忌习俗对跨文化交际的影响展开研究分析跨文化交际中出现的禁忌分析其特点从而提出规避禁忌对跨文化交际失误的策略。
文章基本包括以下几点：第一，该选题的研究起因和研究意义。第二，禁忌的定义，禁忌的特点。第三，跨文化交际中出现的语言禁忌，包括语言的禁忌和词汇的禁忌。第四，跨文化交际中出现的非语言禁忌，包括社交禁忌，宗教禁忌和食物禁忌。第五，对防止禁忌所导致的交际失败提出策略。第六，对文章提出的观点进行总结，并分析论文存在的不足，指出今后可能的研究方向。通过对该课题的研究发现保持好的态度和广泛的思维等方法可以尽量避免禁忌的冲突。

Abstract

With the developing of the world, the cooperation between different countries increases gradually, so the communications between countries with different cultural backgrounds also increase in politics, economies, cultures and some other aspects. But communicators with different cultural backgrounds will face varieties of misunderstandings and conflicts, these conflicts of communication caused by the cultural differences, so knowing well about the taboos appeared in the cultures and finding the ways to solve the cultural conflicts to make the international cooperation and communications goes smoothly. Other scholars pay their attention to the comparisons and influences of verbal taboos, but this paper writes from the influences of taboo customs in cross-cultural communication of business English to analyze the characteristics of taboos appeared in the cross-cultural communication of business English so that to find out the ways to avoid the errors caused by taboos in cross-cultural communication.
This paper basically including the following points: firstly, it introduces the origin of the study and analyzing the significances of studying this issue. Secondly, it introduces the definition of taboo, the features of taboo. Thirdly, it talks about verbal taboos in cross-cultural communication, including linguistic taboos and taboo vocabulary. Fourthly, the paper introduces non-verbal taboos in cross-cultural communication, including social taboos, religious taboos and food taboos. Fifthly, this paper gives some strategies of avoiding communication failures caused by taboos. Sixthly, making a conclusion of the points pointed out about this paper, analyzing the shortages exists in this paper and pointing out the directions in the future time. Trough the study of this paper, it shows that keeping a good attitude and comprehensive understanding can avoid the taboo conflicts.

1. Introduction
The development of the human history is entering the era of globalization, the economic globalization is an objective fact and it is a necessary trend of the development of our history. The international communications between different nationalities have become increasingly frequent, no matter in the economy, politics, cultures or some other aspects.
