摘　要

在悠久的历史文化中，中西方不同的思维方式和处世哲学使中西方饮食文化出现了差异。餐饮产品由于地域区别、气候环境、风俗习惯等因素的影响，会在用料、口味、烹饪方式、饮食习惯上出现不同程度的差异。然而虽然中西方存在饮食文化方面的差异，但是由于全球经济文化的不断整合，一些方面已经互相融合。本篇论文主要采用文献法、比较法、归纳法和引用的方法来论述餐桌饮食的差异。中西方饮食的差异可以使人们更好地了解中西方餐桌礼仪文化的不同，同时，几千年来的中西方文化的交流也促成中西方的餐桌礼仪文化的不断融合。研究跨文化交际中的餐桌礼仪文化差异将使人们增进相互间的了解,享受不同的餐桌礼仪带来的不同感受,增进文化间的交流、并且使中西方文化得到互补，甚至于融合。

Abstract

In the long history of culture, the different ways of thinks and life philosophy cause difference between Chinese and Western diet. To some degree foods present difference in materials, flavor, ways of cooking, habits of cooking due to regional difference, climate, custom and so on. However, even though there is difference between eastern and western diet, some of them have been merged with the globalization of economy and culture. In China, we can see a lot of KFC, McDonald which sell fast food in western style. Also, countless Chinese restaurants are seen in western countries. This paper focus on the ways of diet. Exchange of culture in table etiqutte has become a popular trend, which changes the world. Studying shows that cross-culture communication makes the cultural difference in table etiqutte complement with each other, which enhances mutual understanding, enjoy different feeling that different table etiqutte brings to us and promote the friendship among the people in the world. This paper is adopted by documental method, comparative method, inductive method and citing method. Study on cross-cultural communication in the table etiqutte of cultural differences will allow people to enhance mutual understanding,enjoy the different feelings of different table etiqutte, promote cultural exchanges between the complementarity and integration. In brief, trying to get to know the diet culture will help us know other countries much better and do well when we have communication.

1 Introduction
This paper will analyse the difference between eastern and western diet through five aspects. Finally summed up the future prospects of Chinese and Western table etiqutte . And discuss the different ways of eastern and western diet in details, such as dining,tableware and dining etiquette. According to the two different food culture, we can understand diet culture exchange need mutual understanding and appreciate between different cultures.
