摘　要

随着世界的不断发展和需求，国际间的交流日益紧密，在大背景的驱使下，越来越多的人选择出国深造。因此中国留学生在海外的适应情况也日益突出，逐渐引起人们的注意。一些研究表明，中国留学生的社交圈对他们的人际交往以及海外适应有着非常重要的影响。有益的海外社交圈的形式能够促进他们和当地人的交往，缩短留学生心理适应期，更好地适应留学生活。本论文从人际圈的角度入手，通过问卷调查以及访问等形式，采用定性和定量的研究方法，研究社交圈在跨文化适应过程中的具体作用，围绕中国留学生的交际圈现状以及中国留学生交际圈与跨文化适应的关系问题对中国留学生的跨文化适应进行了探讨。根据以上问题，提出一些相关假设，通过对在美国、英国、法国、加拿大、澳大利亚等国的50名中国留学生做了问卷调查以及访问。

Abstract

Driven by the continuous world development and requirement, the international communication is becoming more and more closely and there is an increasing number of students, which choose to go abroad for further study. So Chinese students abroad adaptation are also increasingly prominent, it has gradually aroused people’s attention. Some studies have shown that their social circles have a great impact on their international communication and overseas adaptation. Therefore, meaningful overseas social activities can encourage students to communication with local people and shorten the period of student’s psychology adaptation of studying abroad. This paper stands from the social network point of view, uses the form of questionnaire investigation and interview, adopts the qualitative and quantitative research methods, and studies the specific function of social network in intercultural adaptation. This paper discusses the problem of the social network state quo of Chinese overseas students, the relationship between social network and intercultural adaptation. The research is carried out through questionnaire investigation and interview 50 Chinese overseas students in America, England, Canada, France, Australia and so on.

1 Introduction
The proportion of 2009 graduates from the “China 211 Universities” who studied abroad has increased more than 2 percent compared with 2008.
About the majors of the graduates who went abroad to study, engineering majors accounted for the largest number out of the total number of Chinese graduates who studied abroad. Engineering and management of the three professional literatures, accounting for the total number of overseas Chinese graduates more than 70%.
