摘 要
传统的秘书工作往往是依据组织和领导的要求与需要以及秘书个人对自身的认识来开展的,随着现代经济文化和科学技术的发展,新的形势对秘书人员的综合素质提出了新的挑战。本文通过文献研究法和调查法,翻阅大量网上与文本资料,并以问卷的形式对在职秘书人员进行多方面研究。为了适应秘书工作日益发展的这一要求和需要,秘书人员应从文化素养、领导能力、社会交际、写作水平等多方面出发,培养自己成为一名成功出色的高级秘书,充分发挥辅助作用。由于篇幅限制,本文重点对秘书的常规工作、公关交际与写作等几个方面展开研究论述,旨在为有意投身秘书行业的相关人才提供助力。

Abstract
Traditional secretarial work is often carried out in accordance with the requirements and needs of the organization and leadership as well as the personal cognition of secretaries. With the development of modern economic, culture and technology, the new situation has presented new challenges to the secretarial overall quality. Secretarial work under the modern enterprise system has a great difference. The most different is the enterprises require the secretaries to participate in the management and provide decision support. In the leadership decision-making process, the secretaries should not only maintain a good working environment but also prepare a good preliminary of material collection and market analyze for the leaders having the first-hand information in the decision-making so that they can make accurate and efficient decisions. This paper searched a large number of online and text data, moreover, researched several secretaries on-the-job in the form of questionnaire by using of two types of Methodology which are Survey and Documentary research. In order to be a forward-thinking secretary, to adapt to the requirements and needs of these growing secretarial work, and also not to live up the honor of the right-hand man. Secretaries should train themselves to be successful outstanding and senior from culture quality, leadership ability, relationship, wisdom, eloquence and writing, to give full play to the role of assistant. Due to space constraints, this paper focuses on the routine work, public relations and writing, aims to provide the impetus for the secretarial talents.

1 Introduction
This paper introduces several qualities for modern secretary in routine work, writing skills, professional ethic and commands. In chapter II, there being three important parts in secretarial basic daily work are telephone, meeting and business trip. Then come secretary’s staff role and two commands: general knowledge a secretary should have and the ability to deal with relationship. Last but not least is the writing which may almost be the most important quality.
