摘  要

美国作为世界第一大国，不仅在政治、经济、文化等方面影响着这个世界，其教育也是各个国家中的佼佼者。美国的教育界，尤其是在美国的高校教育中存在着一个特殊的社会现象，那就是——社会高校捐赠。通过对前人所写的论文的一些研究可以发现，许多因素都影响着这一社会现象的发生，其中美国的宗教信仰——基督教，对高校捐赠现象起着至关重要的作用。《圣经》是所有基督徒所查考并且笃信不疑的，其极高的道德标准远超世上一切的法律标准。圣经中所提倡的爱，是整本圣经的核心，神说命令的总归就是爱。通过对圣经中的爱及其影响下的奉献精神的分析研究，可以发现美国的社会思维方式受到基督教信仰的影响极其深远，所以其高校捐赠制度成为一种普遍的社会现象。

Abstract

The United State is the most developed country in the world, it affects the world not only in politics, economy and cultures but also in its outstanding education ability. In American’s educational circles, especially in university education, there is a particular social phenomenon, which is the donation culture in American universities. By means of investigating the predecessors’ research paper on this aspect, it can be found that many factors form this social phenomenon, among these factors, American religion belief—Christianity, plays an important role in the donation culture in American universities. Bible is read by all the Christians and they believe it with confidence by the faith of Jesus. Its high morality standards are far more than all the legal standards in the world. What teaches them most in Bible is LOVE, it’s the core of the entire Bible, and the end of God’s commandment is love. Through the analysis of the love from God and the donation spirit under the influence, it can be found that American’s thinking mode is affected profoundly by the Christian belief. As a result, the donation culture in American universities becomes a general phenomenon.

1.    Introduction
This paper is mainly about the influence of Christian belief on the donation culture in American universities. The donation culture is a very normal phenomenon in the United State for its special social background—most of Americans believe God, believe Jesus and they admit they are Christian. This faith influences their thinking mode and behavioral pattern very much. And the success of American universities is very significant for others to do researches and emulate from them.
