A Study on negative transfer of native language in lexical collocation
Abstract
Language transfer, as a linguistic concept which can be divided into positive transfer and negative transfer, has always been considered and seen as a phenomenon which occurs in second language acquisition. This paper analyzes the interference effect of negative transfer of native language from two aspects: lexical collocation in connotations and part of speech in second language acquisition by using the method of questionnaire and interview among 20 college students. Then some appropriate solutions are put forward in view of the problems to minimize the interference of negative transfer of native language in second language acquisition.
