摘 要

在当今世界日益严峻的生态危机面前，人们不得不反思人与自然的关系，试图协调两者之间的冲突矛盾，为人类可持续发展提供保障。宗教作为人类发展历程上的重要组成部分，其理论和传统深刻影响着人们的言行和精神世界。面对生态危机的挑战，人们尝试着从宗教的角度来进行探讨研究，借以找出不一样的解决方法。本文主要通过对基督教和道教的教义，经典的分析比较，从而探讨中西方在处理自然方面的异同，以便于寻求一条合适的解决问题的道路。

Abstract

Facing world increasingly serious ecological crisis, people have to reflect the relationship between human and nature, and try to coordinate the conflicts for human sustainable development. Religion as one important part in human development course, its theory and tradition profoundly affect people's behavior and mental world. Facing the challenge of ecological crisis, people try to make a further study from a religious Angle, so as to find a different approach. This article mainly talks about the Christian and Taoist, through doctrine and classic comparison analysis, to discuss Chinese and western similarities and differences in handling nature, in order to search a suitable way to solve the problem.

1. Introduction

Today we can often hear some words like global warming, new energy, and a series of natural disasters: land resource exhaustion, desertification throughout the world, deforestation, water deficiency, species extinction. Ecological environment has been destroyed seriously. Meanwhile, the population is exploding, and human desires are more and more expanding. The contradiction between population and resources become increasingly sharp. Ecological crisis as nightmare hangs over the people living space.
   “What we can do and how to do”, questions like these always affect and draw people’s attention to protect the nature. With the in-depth understanding of ecological problems, people feel that solving ecological problem is not only to save nature, but also to save our souls, and the latter is more important. The famous Japanese scholar Daisaku Lkeda thinks: "why people's external living environment appears crisis. The fundamental reason is people's inner environment has problem, which is caused by human endless desires and needs. The fundamental reason is that human beings as the presence of life have a kind of “magic desire”, which lurks in its deep humanity, and this magic performs selfish and essence."(Daisaku Lkeda, 1985)However ,as a main part of culture and also as the initial moral and behavior standard , religion plays a great role in human’ s inner world. So in the process of dealing with man and nature problem, the role of religion should not be neglected.
