摘 要

1946年NBA成立。大卫斯特恩，NBA总裁让NBA的收入从1984年的1.92亿达到今天的40亿。同时，他也将NBA风靡全球。NBA之所以获得如此大的成绩的原因在于其先进的商业概念以及深厚的市场底蕴。除了精彩的比赛，NBA的市场运作商业拓展的广度让NBA变成一个高盈利的体育组织。笔者将从NBA和CBA的对比出发，提出自己建设性的、可行性的建议，希望为中国的篮球事业做出一点贡献。
CBA与NBA是两种不同的文化形式，作为不同的文化体现，它们是不同时代、不同国情的一种综合体现。每个时代都有不同于其它时代的、特殊的物质生产方式，特殊的人与人之问的关系。“一定的时代有其一定的特点，这一定的特点必然导致一定的发展规律和一定的发展方向，也正是在这个时代的发展规律和发展方向中，这个时代才充分表现出来。文化的时代性要反映这个时代的特点，必须表现出这个时代的发展规律和发展方向。”

Abstract

NBA was founded in 1946. David Stern, president of NBA, makes the gross earnings from 192 million in 1984 to 4 billion today. And he also makes NBA popular all over the world. The reason why NBA gains so much success lies in its advanced business concepts and profound marketing groundwork. To anatomize NBA, we’ll see its mature marketing and front-page products. Apart from splendid games, as a sports association, its successful operational concepts and extent of commercialization degree make NBA an athletics association with high profits in return. The thesis will, based on a summary of its operational and managerial methods, elicit the way it has succeeded. The author will make contrast between NBA and Chinese athletics associations, and bring forward some doable suggestions, hoping to make a bit of contribution to the development of Chinese athletics.
Through the comparison and analysis between CBA and NBA in some aspects as the social and cultural backgrounds, the organizational mechanism and commercial model, the regional culture and national characteristics and the industrial culture, I would like to illustrate that differences in basketball culture are the main reason resulting to the disparity between CBA and NBA and thusly remind people to focus on culture exchanges.

Chapter 1 Introductions
1.1 Introductions of NBA
NBA, which is short for National Basketball Association, is the biggest basketball game in America, representing the highest level of basketball game in the world. It consists of 30 teams, which is divided into the eastern union and the western union. Among the 30 teams, 29 are located in the USA and another one comes from Toronto, Canada.   
In 1946, the Basketball Association of America (BAA) was formed. The first game was played in Toronto, Ontario, Canada between the Toronto Huskies and New York Knickerbockers on November 1, 1946. Three seasons later, in 1949, the BAA merged with the National Basketball League to form the National Basketball Association (NBA). An upstart organization, the American Basketball Association, emerged in 1967 and briefly threatened the NBA's dominance until the ABA-NBA merger in 1976. Today the NBA is the top professional basketball league in the world in terms of popularity, salaries, talent, and level of competition.
