摘 要

每个民族都有代表自己风俗的服饰，服饰代表了这个民族的文化传统。服饰是西藏文化很特殊的一个载体，更是雪域高原上的一道绚丽的彩虹。藏族人民劳动生活在高原上，各地条件差异很大，加上宗教信仰的影响，所以藏族服饰并非清一色的宽袍大袖，而是丰富多彩，文化内涵丰富层次多样，不同地区的藏族服饰具有不同的风格和特点。本文是以西藏拉萨，山南，工布，那曲服饰为例运用比较和对比阐述了不同地区的西藏服饰所孕育的文化内涵。西藏服装要搭配很多装饰品，而且色彩鲜艳。总的来说，藏族服饰大同而小异，服饰文化是藏族历史文化发展的产物，各个地区的服装的佩饰，色彩都有自己独具特色的风格和精神面貌。西藏的服饰多姿多彩，特色各异。通过探讨藏族这四个地区服饰文化内涵的基本特征，期望将该民族最本质的精神风貌和最具特色的文化情趣展现出来。

Abstract

The Tibetan culture is a rare flower in the beautiful garden of china’s ethnic cultures. Tibetan clothing varies among different places and is a carrier of Tibet culture. As we all know a group’s clothing and its living conditions are closely linked, especially in Tibet, clothing and accessories have their distinctive characteristics. Tibetan costumes contain their own strong ethnic characteristics, and clothing is a reflection of ethnic and regional culture. The Tibetan people have created their own unique garments and adornments that reflect their special taste and environment. People living in the different regions in Tibet have different clothing from others. So it is possible for us to sort through these similarities and differences among different regions in Tibet to find out their special cultural factors. Tibet has an isolated environment, which has made Tibetan clothing more unique. Based on analysis of different dressing styles and adornments, we may have some understanding of Tibetan clothing culture. This paper mainly describes different dressing styles in four regions, namely, Lhasa, Shannan, Linzhi and Nagqu, which are representatives of four different natural environments. By analyzing the causes and manifestations of different dressing styles in these regions, cultural factors in four different regions are revealed. Furthermore, similarities and differences of dressing styles among these regions will be compared to reveal the regional characteristics.

Chapter 1 Introduction
1.1 A Brief Introdution of Tibetan Clothing
The Tibetan Plateau is surrounded by continuous stretches of snow-capped mountains. So in different regions of Tibet, namely, Shannan or Changtang, rural or pastoral areas, eastern or western Tibet, the customs are varied. Moreover Tibetan clothing is an important aspect of Tibet culture. And in this paper we will find some similarities and differences among different regions. Tibetan dress embodies great contrasts and variety concerning sex, status, rank and office. The dress worn by the Tibetan people also varies in different regions and seasons. There is a great contrast among the dresses worn by priestly, upper, middle and lower classes. In earlier days there were strict laws in Tibet which regulated the quality of the material, and the color of the garbs of each class. In this paper I will focus on Tibetan clothing culture, based on the research on different dressing style in four regions in Tibet. In different regions of Tibet, namely, Lhasa, Shannan, Gongbo and Nagqu, the dressing customs are varied.
