摘 要

互联网作为２０世纪末西方社会的舶来品，在促进科学技术高速发展和信息大量传播的同时，也渐渐成为人们生活中主要的交流工具。这就为人与人之间的交际，尤其是跨文化交际提出一个新课题——跨文化网络交际。目前国内外将网络交际与跨文化交际相结合的研究还只是初涉蕃篱，此前相关的跨文化交际研究也多定位于现实生活中。但是虚拟的网络空间与现实生活中人们的交流模式和方法着实存在很大的差异。而且网络交际也逐渐渗透到人们的生活中，影响着人们的行为方式。因此,跨文化网络交际的研究，不仅有利于各国通过信息交流与共享促进相互之间在经济上的共同发展、政治上的和睦互信以及文化上的相互借鉴，而且有利于引导人们合理正确地认识并使用互联网和引导网络自身的良好发展。
本文结合网络交际与跨文化交际探讨了跨文化网络交际,指出了信息化时代网络交际给跨文化交际带来的各种机遇和挑战，并提出了相应的加强和改善跨文化中网络交际的策略以促进国际间的合作和交流。

Abstract

The Internet, a technology imported from the West in the 20th century, has not only stimulated the rapid development of scientific technology and mass spread of information, but also, gradually, become the main tool for interpersonal communication. Thus, intercultural cyber-communication, a new research field about interpersonal communication, especially intercultural communication, came into being. Nowadays, the researches connecting the Internet and intercultural communication, both at home and abroad, are at the beginning stage. Besides, they focus mostly on the communication in the real life. However, there exist many differences between real life and virtual cyberspace in terms of people's communicative modes, methods and relative advantages and disadvantages. These differences exert unprecedentedly complicated and profound influence on people's behavior. Therefore, it is necessary to explore intercultural cyber-communication because it is beneficial not only to the mutually developing economy, harmonious political relations and exchange of culture, but also to the rational and correct comprehension and use of the Internet and the sound development of the Internet itself.
This thesis focuses on the studies on international cyber-communication from the perspective of intercultural communication by carefully and comprehensively emphasizing opportunities and challenges brought by cyber-interaction. The opportunities for developing intercultural communication are introduced based on the following four aspects, involving share of various information, realization of equal and open intercultural communication, globalization of international communication and enrichment of on-line linguistic symbols. The challenges are also illustrated in detail from four parts, including cultural differences and hegemony, information pollution and cyber-ethic problems. Also, corresponding strategies to cope with these challenges are introduced respectively at last.
The thesis is a meaningful in that it may facilitate and improve the sound development of intercultural cyber-communication by clarifying the opportunities and challenges to cyber-communication and putting forward constructive strategies to improve intercultural cyber-communication competence.
