摘要

随着国际间合作与交流的日益增加，英语学术论文的体裁分析和语言研究越来越受到国际上各学科的专家学者和研究者的重视。英语医学学术论文是英语学术论文中一种十分重要的语篇体裁。对于医学专业的学生和研究人员而言，能否撰写出符合国际通用的学术规范的医学英语学术论文是至关重要的。论文的逻辑结构和展开方式是否符合该学科英语语言的使用习惯,不仅决定了论文作者的研究发现和研究成果的有效传递与交流,也直接影响论文在国际医学刊物上的发表。
因此，不少学者从词汇、语法和体裁等角度分别对医学英语学术论文的摘要、引言、方法、结果和讨论部分进行了研究和探讨。但是，结论部分作为学术论文的重要组成部分，却鲜少有人研究。
本文旨在研究医学英语学术论文的结论部分。通过随机抽样，选取国际医学领域两大权威期刊《柳叶刀》和《癌症研究》上的20篇论文，本文将从语步和语言中语态的角度进行分析和统计，进而得出医学英语学术论文结论部分的写作特点。研究结果表明，
（1）语步结构方面，医学英语学术论文结论部分宏观体裁结构可概括为三个语步：研究结果总结，研究结果评价和后续研究建议。
（2）语态方面，出于对文字生动清晰的要求，医学英语学术论文的结论部分大量使用主动语态,而非被动语态。
本研究主要是为医学工作者们提供一个撰写此类论文英文结论部分的基本框架。同时，本研究对体裁分析研究和学术写作教学都有着重要意义

Abstract

Along with the rapid development of international exchange and cooperation, the genre and linguistic analysis are increasingly attracting attention of the scholars and researchers in various disciplines from different countries. English medical research article is a very important genre in English research articles. For those students and researchers in the medical field, whether they can write English research article in standard international model is vital. Whether the logical structure and development of the thesis abide by the habitual use of English language in this subject, not only determines the effective transmission and communication of the author's research discoveries and fruits but also has direct influence on the publication of the thesis on the international medical journals.
Therefore, many scholars have studied the words, grammar, and genre in English medical research articles Abstract, Introduction, Method, Result and Discussion; while rarely of them have investigated the Conclusion section, which is also an essential part.
Based on a self-constructed corpus, this study aims at observing the generic structure and linguistic feature of English medical research article Conclusion section. The 20 corpora are randomly selected from 2 representative international journals—Lancet and Cancer. The results of this study are summarized as follows:
(1)    On the aspect of move structure, the English medical research articles Conclusion section is divided into three moves, they are “summarizing the study”, “evaluating the study”, and “recommending further research” respectively.
(2)    In terms of linguistic features, the study is mainly focusing on its passive and active voice analysis. Due to demanding writing vividly and distinctly, the active voice, instead of passive voice, is widely used in English medical research articles Conclusion section.
The thesis is hoped to offer a basic framework for medical writers writing English medical articles. It would be beneficial both for genre analysis and for the teaching of academic writing.
