摘要
幽默,不仅仅是一种让人发笑的文字,还与文化、历史和社会发展有关,不同的地区、国家,对同一个幽默也具有不同的解读。本文通过分析了美国情景喜剧《生活大爆炸》中的部分幽默语句,认为幽默语句的形成主要依赖于词汇、修辞等语言技巧的妙用,以及语境的重要参与。
全文主要以概念隐喻为理论为依据,运用文献资料法和案例分析法,研究现代美国幽默的特点。本文首先阐述了幽默,情景剧《生活大爆炸》的背景和内容,以及语言学理论的介绍。其次运用语言学理论对情景剧中的幽默对话进行分析,是全文的核心。通过对美剧的个案分析,分析出剧中不同文化背景下的人物对幽默有不同的理解和创造。最后从剧中的幽默语言特点分析出当下美国文化的传统和创新。幽默作为一种使人发笑的语言文字,隐藏在其后更多的是文化背景、社会经验的差异所带来的理解或误解,是一种特殊的文化载体。

Abstract
Humor is not only the language what make laugh, but usually relate to culture, history and social development. Different areas and countries have distinct explanation to humor. This thesis analyses the part of humorous languages in American situation comedy The Big Bang Theory, anther argue that humorous languages mainly depend on words, rhetoric and context.
The whole thesis bases on the conceptual metaphor theory use the document literature method and case analysis method to researches the character of American humor. In the beginning, anther introduces the background and content of the Big Bing Theory, humor and linguistics theory. Then it is the key that analyses humorous conversation in sitcom use linguistics theory. The thesis through analysis of individual cases in the Big Bing Theory argues that people who possess the distinct cultural background have different understanding and creation about humor. In the end, it analyses the contemporary tradition and creation of American culture in this sitcom. Not only is humor a language what make laugh to people, but is a kind of gap of cultural background and social experiment in the humorous language, which brings understanding or misunderstanding and is the specific carrier of culture.

1 Introduction
Humor is an indispensable element in life in that it can bring happiness and pleasant feeling to us. Besides, humor language usually hides a kind of cultural background. Every country has a distinct context to understand humor in that they are different history and culture. Humorous language has attracted the attention of many linguists. The study of humor can be traced back to the time of Aristotle. Through the years, it has been studied from the perspective of linguistics, aesthetics, philosophy, and sociology, just to name a few. The special function of humor has attracted the attention of many scholars. Their researches have been fruitful and undoubtedly shed light on many aspects of humor.
