摘要

霸权是指在国际关系上以实力操纵或控制别国的行为。霸权主义这一名词我们也并不陌生，当今的美国在处理对外关系问题上经常使用。本文从文化角度对美国霸权的形成进行了详细的论述。美国霸权的形成除了依赖其强大的综合国力外，还有其深远的文化根源，即霸道意识、天赋使命、实用主义。美国霸权需要有相应的理论支撑，以新干涉主义、霸权稳定论、民主和平论以及新帝国主义论为理论支柱。这些理论的形成是美国文化价值观的必然结果。
美国霸权在任何时候，其本质都是最大程度地维护美国国家利益。通过经济体制的推行、政治制度的推广、生活方式的影响和思想意识的传播，来实现美国自身在政治和经济上最大限度的安全和利益，领导整个世界的发展。
现在美国霸权正由旧的战略型霸权转向新的体系型霸权，是通过在经济全球化和构建国际新秩序的进程中发挥主导作用来实现的。当中国参与到国际体系中，对于反对国际恐怖主义、建立核不扩散体制等与西方存在共同利益的问题，终于应采取体系内合作的态度，而对于人道主义干涉等霸权行径，则要予以坚决反对。

ABSTRACT

Hegemony refers to manipulation or control of another country’s behavior with its strong power in terms of international relations. Hegemonism is not completely new; it is frequently used in today’s U.S. foreign policy on the issue of dealing with foreign relations. This thesis has done detailed study on the causes of hegemony from the point of culture. In addition to America’s great national strength, American hegemony is also closely linked with its deep cultural roots, represented by hegemonic consciousness, myth of mission and philosophy of pragmatism. U.S. hegemony requires corresponding theories to support. It is sustained by such theories as new interference, hegemonic stability, democratic peace, and new imperialism. The formation of these theories is the inevitable result of American cultural values.
American hegemony at any time, its essence is to maintain the U.S. national interest. With implementation of the economic system, promotion of political system, impact of lifestyle and spread of ideology, the final goal of American hegemony is to achieve its political and economic interests to maximum and lead the development of the whole world.
Now, the hegemony of the United States is in the transition from the old strategic hegemony to systematic hegemony through economic globalization and the process of building new international order to play a leading role. When China participates in international system, China should adopt the attitude of cooperation in the field of international political security, the fight against international terrorism, the establishment of nuclear non-proliferation regime and so on, but will have to firmly oppose American hegemonic acts such as human intervention.
