Abstract: 

The development of Internet has created a new language----network language. Network language is something new and fashionable and has a great impact on our lives. Its unique charm attracts people, especially the young. It brings a new communicative way to us, but there are also insufficient aspects. Due to its advantages and disadvantages, it's a vexatious question currently to analyze and use network language correctly. Referring to many researches' data and results, this paper expounds the reasons of its formation and popularity in order to make the public have an initial comprehension. On this basis, this paper analyzes the advantages and disadvantages in detail and a lot of them are mainly about network language's values. Finally this paper concludes network language's impacts on language culture. Network language originates from language and will eventually return to it. Its impacts, whether good or bad, are a reference which makes us treat the network language more objectively and rationally. Then it will guide us the direction of development correctly.

摘要：

网络的发展造就了新的语言——网络语言的产生。网络语言是一个新兴前卫的事物，对人们的生活产生了强烈的冲击。其独特的魅力受到人们，尤其是年轻人的欢迎。它给人们带来了全新的交流方式 ，同时也遭到很多的诟病。说明其自身有必然优势，但也存在不足。所以，正确认识分析网络语言并加以规范利用是当前刻不容缓的问题。本文参照多方研究资料和成果，系统阐述了网络语言的产生及流行原因，让大众对其有了初步的了解。在此基础上，详细分析网络语言的优势与不足，主要是关于网络语言其本身价值的讨论。最后探讨出其对语言文化的影响，网络语言起源于语言且终将回归于语言，其所造成的影响，无论好坏,都是一种参考来让我们更加客观理性地对待网络语言的盛行，从而能够正确地引导网络语言的最终发展方向。

1 Introduction　　
The development of Internet can be divided into four phases: Production, Formation, Connection and High speed. Not only is Internet one of the greatest wonders in the Information Age, but also it's the most important technical factor which has a great effect on people's lives and behaviour in the period of nearly 50 years. During the period of Internet's development, it involves more and more aspects: information share, Internet surfing, e-business, micro blog and so on.
