Abstract:

Love is the everlasting theme of human being, but the love of God exceeds all kinds of love in the world. The Bible says, love suffers long and is kind; love does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; Bears all things, believe that things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never fails. In the Christian meaning, redemption is another important definition which refers to the cost of life in Christ. God is able to make believers buy back from the crime market and liberation. The movie Les Miserables is such a work full of the spirit of love and redemption. This paper will present the process of redemption with Jean Valjean, then explore the reasons for his salvation, and his love and the love of the bishop. At last, the paper combines the spirit of the film with the spirit of Bible to come to the conclusion. It is love that makes Jean Valjean change from hating the world to love. He turns over a new life after salvation, and lives his rest life with love.

摘  要：

“爱”是人类社会的永恒主题，而基督教观念中的爱又有着不同于世人之爱的超越性。圣经说，爱是恒久忍耐,不求自己的益处,不计算人的恶,凡事包容,凡事相信,凡事忍耐。爱是永不止息。"救赎"是基督教思想中的又一重要名词，指基督以自己的生命为代价，将信徒从罪中救赎出来，获得自由与解放。电影《悲惨世界》巧妙地将爱与救赎这两个重要的观念结合起来。本论文具体地描写了冉•阿让的救赎过程，探讨他救赎的原因，分析了主教的爱与他能得到救赎的关系。在冉•阿让经历了仇恨世界到心中充满爱的转变过程中，主教的爱是如何起到一个关键性的作用，使得他能在得到救赎之后重新做人，带着善度过自己的一生。

1  Introduction
As everyone knows, Les Miserables is a long novel of the famous French romantic writer Victor Hugo and published in 1862. It mainly narrated the life of a factory worker Jean Valjean, who is of a poor peasant origin, at the beginning of the nineteenth Century.
The film Les Miserables was remade in 2012，and the exhibition has obtained praise from various aspects. The global box office was more than $400000000,at the same time. It also made significant gains in the 2013 Oscar awards ceremony, in which it won 8 awards nominations and eventually won the three, best supporting actress, best sound, best make up and Hair Design Award. Anne Hathaway won a Best Actress Oscar. There is no one film had won the audio-visual technology awards before. Les Miserables marks a new success in classical literature and art and mass culture media with high tide, and it also marks the classic literary works a new art charm. From the novel published in 1862 to movie theaters in 2012, Les Miserables is the real implementation of the text of the art to the art of music and visual and the art "three-in-one" in these 150 years.
