摘 要
   
作为一种语言艺术，幽默俨然成为了当代社会人际交流的重要手段。在不同场合，幽默能活跃气氛，协调人际关系，同时也能展现个人智慧等。近年来，随着网络媒体的盛行，全球的资源已经近乎达到了共享的状态。在文化产业内，尤以电影电视的传播共享最为突出。标准的美音、地道的俚语以及以美国为主的英语国家人们的语言思维、社会习俗、生活习惯的直观再现，使得美剧在中国打开了广阔的市场。美剧善于用含蓄而又幽默的方式将生活化的语言表达出来，美剧中的对白或者独白在博得观众一笑的同时也让人感叹美国式幽默的独特。情景喜剧属于语言和视觉的交际模式，主要靠幽默策略来制造言语幽默效果。因此本文将着重探索言语幽默和剧作家为实现幽默策略所使用的语言手段。文章选用美国情景喜剧《生活大爆炸》中的言语幽默片段作为语料来进行分析研究，在总结剧中的幽默语句的基础上，从合作原则以及委婉语两个角度进行分析，不仅有助于读者更好地理解欣赏英语喜剧，同时也是对英语学习者语言运用能力的一个提升。

ABSTRACT

Humor plays a crucial instrument in human communication as an art of language. It can enliven the atmosphere, coordinate human relations, and exhibit one’s wisdom and so on. In recent years, with the popularity of online media, global resources have almost reached the point of sharing with anyone else. In the cultural field, film and television are the most prominent. Standard American accent, authentic slang, and the thought, social customs and habits of English-speaking people show up frequently, providing American drama with a broad market in China. American sitcoms are good at expressing daily language in an implicit and humorous way. While gaining joy from the dialogues or monologues, people appreciate the uniqueness of American humor. Situation comedy creates verbal humor mainly by certain humor strategies. Therefore, this paper is based on an analysis of the American humor from the perspective of the American drama The Big Bang Theory. It will focus on exploring the verbal humor and the means of language from the angles of CP and euphemisms. The paper can improve readers’ understanding of American comedies and help learners use English more effectively.
