Abstract

Dress culture is a culture phenomenon unique to human beings. When talking about cultural differences, we may think of too much, such as customs, traditional festivals, eating habits, clothing and so on. In terms of the clothing culture, we think first of all is the clothing styles, colors and texture of materials. Clothing culture is a natural production of human consciousness and behavior, and it reflects the religion, art, science to some extent, especially the aesthetic factors. Because of the cultural backgrounds of China and the West, the dress culture concepts are also different. The thesis can be divided into four sections. The first section mainly introduces the different characteristics of Chinese and Western dress. The second part analyzes Chinese and Western aesthetic ideas and the dress concepts. The third part will explain the causes of the differences between Chinese and Western clothing culture. The fourth part is to write the mutual influence between Chinese and Western dress.
 Through the above, the thesis finally draws a conclusion—knowing the differences of Chinese and Western clothing  can contribute to our further understanding of the concept and characteristics of Chinese and western culture. Clothing culture is the reflect of each nation’s unique value and moral. In addition, it shows every nation’s expertise and wisdom. Every nation has its own unique beauty. So we can see mutual learning between China and the West can advance the development of clothing culture.

摘要

服饰文化是人类特有的文化现象。当谈论文化差异时，我们可能想到的太多。如风俗习惯、传统节日、饮食习惯、服饰等等。在服饰文化方面，我们首先想到的是服装的款式，颜色，纹理的感觉。服饰文化是人的意识与行为的自然产物，它在很大程度上反映了宗教、艺术和科技，尤其是审美因素。由于中西方有着不一样的文化背景，其服饰文化观念也存在着很大的差异。论文可以分为四个部分。第一部分主要介绍了各具特色的中西服饰。第二部分分析了中国和西方的审美观念和穿着理念。第三部分解释了中西方服饰文化差异的原因。第四部分则是写中西方服饰之间的相互影响。
通过以上研究，本文最后得出结论:对于中西方服饰观念差异的研究，有助于我们进一步理解中西方文化。服饰文化除了表现各民族特有的价值观和道德思想之外，也表现了每个民族的特长和智慧，每个民族都展示了自己独特的美。由此可以看出，中西方相互借鉴，更能促进服饰文化的发展。
