Abstract

     Feminism comes into being with the development of modernization and industrialization. From the fight of women for voting right at the beginning at the movement of women liberation, feminism has entered almost every aspect of society now. Feminism is a collection of movements and ideologies aimed at defining, establishing, and defending equal political, economic, cultural, and social rights for women. This paper analyzes Robert Zebecks’s Forrest Gump from the perspective of feminism on the basis of its effect on film works. This paper also tries to explore the feminism in the film through the analysis of female identity . It consists of three part. It firstly deals with the development and genre of feminism. The development of feminism is classified into three waves in which the characteristics of feminism in different period are presented. And the genres of feminism mainly include Liberal Feminism, Radical Feminism and Marxist Feminism.Then, it analyses the background of feminism, including realistic background and text background. In terms of realistic background, this paper analyzes the development and the status of feminism in America. In the text background of Forrest Gump, this paper discusses the effect of feminism on the work’s plot, themes and so on. Finally, the paper analyzes the characters in the perspective of feminism, which is divided into two parts as the analysis of female characters and the analysis of male character. Through the analysis the inner relations among the characters are explored and discussed.

摘  要

女权主义运动几乎是与社会现代化及工业化发展同时诞生的。从最初争取女性政治选举权的斗争到女权主义解放运动，女权主义运动发展至今已涉及到了社会的各个方面。女权主义是致力于定义、建立、保卫女性的平等政治、经济、文化和社会权利的运动和思想意识的总称。本文以女权主义对电影作品的影响作为切入点，从女权主义视角分析了《阿甘正传》，力求通过分析此电影中女性主体身份进而对女权主义运动的影响进行挖掘，从而深入地探讨本作品中所反映的女性主体地位的社会和现实意义。本文分为三部分。文章在第一部分介绍了女权主义的发展和流派。在女权主义发展的历史方面，本文将女权主义的整体发展分为三个阶段并介绍了各个阶段发展的特点。在女权主义流派方面，本文主要介绍了自由主义女性主义、激进主义女性主义、马克思主义女性主义。紧接着介绍了其背景，包括现实背景和文本背景。在现实背景方面，本文分析了女权主义在美国的发展状况。在文本背景方面，本文主要结合作品讨论了女性主义的故事情节、主题等。第三部分笔者通过电影中的女性角色和男性角色的分析来研究女权主义以及讨论角色之间的内在关系。
