Abstract

With the quick speed of international economic integration, economic and business cooperation between people from different cultural backgrounds has become more and more frequent and transnational business relationships has being promoted by a large margin. The close communication and exchanges between each country boost the economic development, however, at the same time, conflicts and clashes happen unavoidably, one of the reason is the cultural differences existing in every country. Cultural difference is the problem of the success of international communication and negotiation. So it is a necessity to probe into the cultural differences of international communication and improve cultural understanding, analyze the cultural difference during the process of the communication. At the beginning of this thesis, the writer will analyze some cultural differences and business etiquette so that readers can understand the real business etiquette clearly, and each of these differences will be detailed by typical examples. However, it is not enough to compare the cultural differences, we should find underlying culture which conceal behind the phenomenon. Then the roots behind these differences should be analyzed. Only if deeply realizing the causes, can one cross the cultural obstacles. At the end of the thesis, the writer will bring forward some measures according to her own opinion and some scholars’ views, and sincerely hope this thesis can help avoiding and reducing the negative impacts on international business.

摘要

随着世界经济一体化进程的发展，来自不同文化背景的人们跨国商务活动越来越频繁。各国密切的沟通在促进经济发展的同时也为各国带来了冲突，其中一个主要原因是各国的文化差异。文化差异阻碍着商务沟通的顺利进行，探讨国际商务沟通的文化差异问题和沟通过程中的文化差异,对提高国际商务沟通大有帮助。在论文开头，作者将对在文化因素影响下的文化差异、商务礼仪现象进行阐述。然而仅仅比较中西方商务文化的差异是不够的，我们应该找出隐藏在现象背后的文化因素，接着分析这些差异背后的根源。文章最后将提出有效的方法来减少国际贸易中的文化差异。希望本文能够帮助避免或者减少文化差异对国际贸易产生的负面影响。
