Abstract
Campus culture is the unique cultural form which is formed intentionally or unintentionally which reflects the clear purpose of education, plays a guiding role in students’ growth, and profoundly affects the students’ value, personality, ideology and morality and attributes to students’ overall development.
As more and more British students are coming to China and Chinese students going to Britain to pursue advanced studies, we find that the differences and problems in campus culture are somehow making troubles for students when they are studying away from home. Therefore, this thesis, based on the theory of intercultural communication in silent language, analyzes the differences of campus culture between Chinese colleges and British colleges from three aspects, that is, school motto and school uniform, school time, and after-school life, and offers the suggestions on how to adapt to a new campus culture and develop faster. Also it is a way to promote cultural exchange and communication between countries, enrich the diversity of culture, and strive for the stable development of our society.

摘要
校园文化是学校在自身的发展过程中有意无意间形成的独特的文化形态,它对学生的情感、态度、价值观有着不可忽视的潜在影响。校园文化处处反映着明确的教育目的,发挥着导向作用,深刻地影响着学生的价值取向、生活方式和思想品德的选择。另外,校园文化熏陶着学生的德、智、体、美等多方面发展。
随着越来越多的英国学生来中国求学和中国学生去英国留学, 我们发现在异国他乡求学时,一些校园差异和问题使留学生感到困惑。因此, 本文基于无声的语言在跨文化交际中的作用, 通过对中英两国校园文化中的校训和校服、上课、 课余时间三方面来进行分析和研究中国大学和英国大学校园文化之间的差异,从而为那些出国留学的学生更好地发展自己,适应海外生活,充实自己提出一些建议,另外也为促进国家之间文化的交流和沟通,文化的多样性,社会的稳定发展做出自己的一份力量。
