ABSTRACT

    With the development of the world economy, business correspondence plays an even more important role in international business communication. While vague language, as an important means of language, has been attracting more and more people's attention for its increasing importance in business correspondence. This thesis briefly introduces the vague language and business correspondence and then focuses on the analysis of the application and function of vague language in business correspondence with the expectation of giving a guide to business correspondence writing.

    随着世界经济的发展，商务信函在国际商务交流中发挥着越来越重要的作用。模糊语，作为一种重要的语言形式，它在商务信函中的重要性与日俱增，吸引了越来越多人的关注。本文简要介绍了模糊语及商务信函的基本概念，着重分析模糊语在商务信函中的应用及功能，希望能对商务信函写作起到一定的指导作用。

Business correspondence plays an important role in international business communication. More and more people pay attention to the studies of vague language in business correspondence.  
1.1 Background of the Thesis
    With the development of the world economy, business correspondence has been playing an even more important and indispensable role in international business communication. An increasing number of business correspondence are used to promote business activities, such as to establish a business relationship, to sell products, to negotiate on prices or transportation of goods. An effective and essential business correspondence makes a great contribution to a successful business transaction.
