《中美文化交流：1840-1949 国际学术研讨会综述》提到：“中美文化差异之大在世界上是少见的。正因为这种差异，中国和美国才互相吸引并产生影响。” 导致文化差异的因素也种类繁多，例如，语言文化、思维方式、性格特点、交际模式、宗教信仰、社会风俗习惯以及非言语交流的差异等等。一直以来，人们对文化的意义很难有一致的观点。英国人类学家爱德华·泰勒在《原始文化》(1871)一书中，给“文化”下的定义是：“ 所谓文化或文明，在广义民族志的意义上，是一个知识、信仰、艺术、道德、法律、习俗以及其他人类作为社会成员而获得的能力和习性的复合体。”我们在研究文化差异时，“文化”是指一种习俗、世界观、语言、亲属关系系统、社会机制以及其他我们视为理所当然的但却造成一个群体与另一个群体相区别的日常实践。文化差异表现在方方面面,就比如日常生活中的纸币。

Abstract:

"The cultural exchange between China and America: 1840-1949 TAECT summarize" said: "the cultural differences between china and America in this big world is rare. “Because of this kind of the differences between China and the United States, These two countries can attract each other and have a big impact on each other."[1]The factors that lead to cultural differences between is plenty,  for example, language and culture, the mode of thinking, the personality characteristics, communication mode, religious beliefs, social customs and the difference of nonverbal communication, etc. The culture difference exist in many stuffs, such as the daily use thing, money paper.

1.    Introduction
According to the definition of culture, we can see that culture is created by human beings for a long time. It’s also the heritage of the society. Culture contains of beliefs, values, customs, and knowledge, made of people’s implicit and explicit behavior. In fact, most of the culture is invisible. Culture is like an iceberg, we see only a small part of it, and what we did not see is the most. We can see that clothing, food, architecture, literary and artistic works, scientific and technological achievements in our life, while what is involved in the customs, ideas, beliefs, relationships between people, the relationship between man and nature are cannot see. As we all know, China is an eastern country with a long history of 5,000 years of civilization and its culture also has a long history. According to the "quartering”, given by Mr.Tian Huigang, the professor of the Xi'an International Studies University, Chinese culture belongs to Chinese Confucian culture region. The United States with a history of only a hundred years, which is an economically developed new emerging country, regards European culture as its dominant culture. Its culture is a part of Christian culture in Europe and America region. Due to many factors, such as religion, geographical environment, historical background, etc. the Sino-US culture showing a huge difference. [2] I'm curious that many people in the introduction to explore every aspect of Sino-US cultural differences is such a big account,  but why the coins used in our people in daily life cannot be seen. The coins of every country are the essence of its cultural enrichment of each country, a symbol of national spirit and faith. So let’s get the answers from it.
