摘要
 
伴随着信息技术的发展，网络语言也随之出现并渗透到人们的生活。隐喻在人类语言中普遍存在，也充分体现在网络用语中。从认知语言学的角度来看，网络语言创造了大量生动形象的表达方式，极大地改变了人们的沟通方式与日常生活。因此本论文的目的是，通过在认知隐喻视域下对网络语言中隐喻的描述性研究，更好地理解网络语言中的隐喻含义。

Abstract

As information technology develops, netspeak has become a part in human life. As a cognitive phenomenon, metaphor is a regeneration mechanism which belongs to language system. From the perspective of cognitive linguistics, the netspeak created a lot of vivid expressions. Therefore, the aim of this thesis is to get a better understanding of metaphorical terms of netspeaks by means of descriptive research.

1    Introduction
As science and technology develop, the world is changed by the Internet now. The group of netizens which depends on the Internet becomes larger and larger, and many new things appear. Among them, netspeak attracts scholars’ attention. With the development of network, netspeak is different from traditional graphic media. It is simple and vivid, visual and humorous. Netspeak not only makes the Internet atmosphere lively, but also expresses the distinctive personalities of these users. Therefore, whether age or sex, they all prefer to use netspeak rather than traditional words.As human’s "omnipresent principle of language”, I.A.Richards said metaphor is important in the period of formation and development of the netspeak.
As a matter of fact, metaphor not only plays a part in common expression, but also is the motivation of enrichment and development of netspeak system. It can make use of one kind of concept to express another concept and need the correlation of these two kinds of concepts. Metaphor is the origin of new language meaning which is coming into being. In addition, it is one of the approaches to extending language. In netspeak, people often compare two similar things with no reason. In fact, as a cognitive phenomenon and a speech phenomenon in essence, while people want to explain one thing, they usually use another thing as metaphor to illustrate. If there are no suitable words to express a specific concept or a new concept in existing words of netspeak, netizens often use existing words or expressive methods to show the new concept.
