如今随着科学技术的快速进步,全球化进程也在以前所未有的速度快速发展,世界的政治,经济,文化格局也发生着变化,基本趋势为:政治经济实力越强大的国家,其文化影响力越大。新闻媒体等流行文化作为推介各国文化重要的途径之一起到了不容忽视的作用。在这样的全球背景下,美国凭借其强大的经济实力和政治影响力,正在使用流行文化这一重要媒介向全世界推行以美国价值观为主导的文化价值观。好莱坞电影,凭借其先进的技术以及创作手段,不仅为美国的经济发展做出了巨大的贡献,更为美国向全世界介绍其文化发展及其文化价值观起到了不可磨灭的贡献。青年人,尤其是当代大学生,这一群体是比较容易接受新事物,同时也比较容易受到其他价值观的影响,这就是本文研究美国流行文化的着眼点。流行文化作为各民族文化的一个有效载体,不可避免的在潜移默化中影响着人们的行为和价值观。

Abstract:

Nowadays with the rapid development of science and technology, globalization is in rapid development with unprecedented speed, and the world's political, economic, cultural landscape is also changing. The basic trend is: the stronger political and economic power is, the bigger cultural influence. The news media such as pop culture functions as an important way to promote national culture. Under such a global background, the United States, with its strong economic power and political influence, is using the mass media as an important medium to promote the American values. Hollywood films, with its advanced technology, and creative movie making method, do not only made great contributions to America's economic development, but also introduce the world to its cultural values. Young people, especially the contemporary college students, are relatively easy to accept new things, are more easily affected by other values. In this research, the author studied American popular culture, popular culture as an effective carrier of the national culture, the inevitable influence on Chinese people's behavior and values.

1. Introduction
On account of its fame and culture identity as the historical center of movie studios and movie stars, the word “Hollywood” is often used as a representative for the cinema of the United States. Hollywood movies are outstanding in the field of the entertainment and arts. And most of those movies have impressed and influenced the people all over the world. What is the secret of the success? Why did Hollywood movies develop so fast? Actually, each Hollywood movie is not made by one company, but produced and released by different companies (studios). Hollywood cinema has been the overlord of the world’s film circles. For a century, it has been the most important purveyor of culture and entertainment in the USA. And the movies are always influenced by other cultures.
