摘要：

随着社会的进步与发展，来自不同地区、文化背景以及不同领域的人们越来越多的生活、工作在一起，因此使跨文化交流日益频繁。与此同时，跨境旅游日益兴起，并逐渐成为潮流。英语导游又在国际旅游中起着不可替代的作用。然而由于思维方式、价值观念以及宗教信仰等方面的不同，有些英语导游会在工作和日常交际中出现不同的语用失误。本文将简要介绍跨文化交际理论，借用学者的跨文化交际语用失误的研究，进而对英语导游在跨文化交际语用失误从不同方面进行分析。主要是利用英语导游在实际应用中失误举例的方法，例如从价值观念、思维方式，宗教信仰等方面分析。并能够提出解决方法。

Abstract:

Along with the process and development of the society, more and more people live and work together who come from different regions, cultures as well as different working areas, which makes more frequently cross-cultural communications. Meanwhile, the cross-border tourism grows, and has become a trend recently. And English-speaking guides are playing an irreplaceable role in international tourism. However, because there are many different ways in thought, values, and religious beliefs, some English-speaking guides will make some kinds of pragmatic failures in working and daily communication. This paper will give a brief introduction to cross-cultural communication theory, which uses the scholars’ researches of pragmatic failures in the cross-cultural communication, and then analyze the English-speaking tour guides’ pragmatic failures in cross-cultural communication from different aspects. The main way is to list the errors in the practical application of the English-tour guides, such as from the aspect of values, the way of thinking, religious beliefs and so on. Finally I will to put forward the solutions to improve the situation.
