摘要

电影可以集中反映文化， 从而成为人们品读一个国家、一个民族文化价值观的窗口。在历史传统和地理环境等因素共同作用下，西方社会形成了提倡个性、推崇个人价值的个人主义文化价值观，这种价值观在美国社会中具化为了“美国梦”。而新近提出的“中国梦”以其丰富的意蕴和可亲可近的奋斗目标引发了人们的热议。本文从中美两部影片入手—以《中国合伙人》和《当幸福来敲门》为例，研究中国梦和美国梦在文化内涵、价值观、奋斗目标、现实意义等方面体现的梦精神的差异，通过对比加深对中国梦的认识从而提升文化软实力，提升国家地位。

Abstract

Movie is the concentrated reflection of a culture, therefore, becoming the window for people from all nationwide to know the country as well as its culture value. Historical tradition and geographical settings contribute to the culture value of individualism in western society promoting the individual liberation and individual value, and that value turns into “American Dream” later. The newly introduced “China Dream” has greatly arisen hotly debates throughout the country because of its rich in connotation and its dearest and nearest goal in the way of achieving all-round well-off society. This paper studies the differences between American and Chinese national dreams on cultural connotations, values, goals, practical significances, etc, from the perspective of American and Chinese movies, taking The Pursuit of Happiness and American Dreams in China for example. We can deepen the understanding of “China Dream” by comparison, so as to lift Chinese culture soft strength and country’s international status.
