摘要

同性恋是人类社会中存在的一种社会现象，该词语homosexuality由一名德国医生Benkert所创造。虽然“同性恋”这是一个现代概念，但在人类语言的发展过程中，由同性恋衍生出来的词语却层出不穷，并且一些词汇中折射出不同历史时期的社会对同性恋的态度。这些词语形象生动，极大地丰富了人类的语言，体现了不同的文化本质，赋予不同的文化以不同的语言内容。
本论文将研究因同性恋而衍生出的各类用词，从语言学的词义角度分析同性恋词汇所反映出的社会对同性恋现象的认识和态度。对这些词语及其所在文化渊源的了解有助于认识社会的发展变化，丰富社会语言，增加对同性恋现象的了解，从而消除对同性恋者的歧视。

Abstract

Homosexual is a phenomenon existing in the human society. And the word homosexuality was created by a German doctor Benkert. As a modern conception, the homosexuality derives various vocabularies which are close to the definition. We can see from the vocabulary that different attitudes are shown to the group in different ages. Such expressive words would be part of the symbols of the lack of the human language during the development of the society. Different languages reflect different cultures and different cultures convey different content to the language.
This thesis analyzes diverse types of words derived from homo at all times and in all over the world. To study the changes of the populations’ knowledge and attitudes towards homo from the changing vocabularies on linguistics’ viewpoint. The understanding of these words and the cultural origins help to know the change of the development of the society, which enriches the social language vocabulary. The better the society knows the homo,the less discrimination the homo get.
